A new 64 cm diameter full scale polyuretane rocket motor was build in spring 2010.
In May it whent through a static test - and while it showed some rough combustion it was within accepteble limits.
Afterall a launch attempt would also allow us to learn a lot of other things than just the engine related matters.
This engine named HEAT 1X, is distined to fly the first full scale mission with the Tycho Brahe spacecraft on top.
In september 2010 a launch was attempted - but a liquid oxygen valve failure prevented the flight.
By late spring 2011 a new launch attempt is planned.
