Copenhagen Suborbitals is located at the former Burmeister & Wain shipyard on “Refshaleøen”, a peninsula which is part of the Copenhagen harbor area. Our premises currently consist of a large building formerly used for painting ships build by B&W.
In late 2013 we outgrew our original workshop and rented a much larger workshop 100 meter down the road. We call it the “Horizontal Assembly Building”, naturally with reference to the VAB at Kennedy Space Center. HAB provides us with 630 m2 floor space and a 10 m tall ceiling, divided in two separate workshops.
